Exciting New Partnership with Australian Geographic: Discover the Tarkine Wilderness in Tasmania

We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Australian Geographic, bringing you an exclusive series of photography workshops in one of the most breathtaking and remote regions of Tasmania – the Tarkine Wilderness.

This is a place that has to be seen to be believed. Completely untouched and wild, the Tarkine is Tasmania’s best-kept secret. For years, we’ve been fortunate enough to run successful workshops in this incredible location. Now, with the added backing and reach of Australian Geographic, we’re bringing this extraordinary experience to even more passionate photographers.

Why the Tarkine?

The Tarkine Wilderness is unlike anywhere else in the world. It spans 447,000 hectares of awe-inspiring landscapes, from ancient temperate rainforests to wild rivers, rugged coastlines, and pristine cave systems. This is Australia’s largest patch of temperate rainforest, and it offers photographers an unparalleled opportunity to capture its stunning beauty.

Whether you’re photographing the towering trees of the rainforest, the windswept dunes of the west coast, or the dramatic coastal cliffs, the Tarkine offers a truly unique canvas for your landscape photography.

What You’ll Experience:

Join us for 5 days and 4 nights as we immerse ourselves in this magical region. We’ll stay in luxury accommodation at Tall Timbers, a beautiful retreat in Smithton, just a stone’s throw away from the Tarkine. This gives us quick access to the region’s most iconic locations and allows us to fully explore the diversity of the Tarkine’s landscapes.

Throughout the workshop, you’ll receive comprehensive tuition tailored to your experience level, from beginner basics to advanced techniques to help you capture stunning landscapes.

You’ll also have the opportunity to improve your post-processing skills with daily editing tuition, ensuring that you walk away not only with breathtaking images but also the skills to enhance them.
