Nestled in the heart of Victoria’s stunning alpine region, the charming town of Bright is a photographer’s dream, especially when it’s draped in the fiery hues of autumn. With its vibrant colours, breathtaking landscapes, and rich history, Bright offers one of the most captivating settings for capturing the essence of fall.

Next autumn, I’m thrilled to invite you to my Bright Autumn Photography Workshop. Over four immersive days, I’ll show you exactly why this picturesque town and its surrounding areas are a must-photograph destination during the autumn season. Whether you're a seasoned photographer or a passionate enthusiast, this workshop promises to be an unforgettable experience.

Bright, with its crisp mountain air, rich autumn colours, and hidden gems, offers an incredible variety of photography opportunities. I spent my childhood holidays here, and this town is where I truly honed my skills as a landscape and wilderness photographer. This deep connection with the area allows me to guarantee unique, off-the-beaten-path locations that you won't find in typical tours.

We’ll spend 4 nights in luxurious accommodations right in the heart of Bright, ensuring you’re never far from the action. Prepare for stunning landscapes, a burst of colours, delicious food and wine, and great company as we explore Bright and its surroundings.

Locations We'll Visit:

• Mount Buffalo: Arguably the prettiest mountain in Victoria, its dramatic cliffs and tranquil valleys offer endless photography opportunities.
• The Buckland Valley: A magical stretch of land where vibrant autumn colours blend beautifully with rolling vineyards.
• Harrietville: A charming historic gold mining town with untold stories and secret spots to explore and photograph.
• Wandiligong (Wandi): A quaint, hidden gem that offers big photographic rewards in a small, picturesque package.
• Mt Hotham & Dinner Plain: Experience breathtaking alpine views, historic huts, and awe-inspiring landscapes that will leave you speechless.
• And many more unique, lesser-known locations that I know like the back of my hand!

Workshop Details:

We’ll kick off our 4-day adventure on April 27th at 12pm, meeting in Bright before checking into our beautiful accommodation. From there, we’ll hit the ground running, capturing the beauty of autumn’s arrival, and working together to create stunning images.

Optional Pick-Up: If you're coming from Melbourne, I can arrange transportation to Bright prior to the workshop’s start.
