Scotland Photography Tour 2026: Capture the Magic of Autumn in the Land of Castles

Imagine this: You, your camera, and the breathtaking beauty of ancient castles set against the stunning autumn colours of Scotland. The rugged landscapes, the dramatic skies, and the vibrant hues of fall come together to create a photography experience like no other.

We are beyond excited to announce our 2026 Scotland Photography Tour, set in the latter half of the year, when the stunning autumn foliage is at its peak, and the land is bursting with colour. For 11 unforgettable days, we’ll journey across this enchanting country, capturing its castles, lochs, coastlines, and mountain vistas.

Since moving to Tasmania, I’ve been drawn to the similarities between the landscapes here and those of Scotland. It’s always been a dream of mine to explore and photograph Scotland's ancient beauty, and now I’m thrilled to share that dream with you.

Why Scotland?

Scotland offers a treasure trove of stunning landscapes, and autumn is the perfect time to witness the country’s natural beauty at its finest. From mystical castles perched on rugged cliffs to picturesque lochs shimmering in the soft autumn light, every corner of Scotland is a photographer's paradise.

Imagine wandering through vibrant valleys, standing atop windswept hills, or gazing across dramatic coastlines, all while the possibility of witnessing the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) adds an extra layer of magic to the journey. This 2026 Scotland Photography Tour will provide incredible vistas, unforgettable experiences, and the perfect opportunity to hone your photography skills amidst Scotland’s most iconic landmarks.

What Will We Explore?

Our 11-day journey will take us to some of the most iconic locations in Scotland, including:

  • Isle of Skye
  • Old Man of Storr
  • Quiraing
  • Fort William
  • Glenfinnan
  • Edinburgh
  • Neist Point
  • Portree
  • And of course, lots of castles (and we’re talking the real, dramatic kind!)

This tour will be a photography adventure, immersing you in Scotland's natural beauty and offering endless opportunities to capture the authentic charm of this ancient land.
