Scotland has long been a dream destination for photographers and adventurers alike, and since my move to Tasmania, I’ve realized just how much these two landscapes share. The rugged mountains, rolling hills, and the deep history of both regions make Scotland the perfect companion to our photography tours here in Tasmania.

During our 11-day journey, we’ll explore some of Scotland’s most stunning locations, including:

• Isle of Skye: The jewel of Scotland’s landscapes
• Old Man of Storr: Iconic rock formations and views
• Quiraing: A land of magic and mystery
• Glenfinnan: Famous for its dramatic views and history
• Edinburgh: A vibrant city rich in culture and history
• Neist Point: A photographer’s dream on the Isle of Skye
• Portree: Picturesque harbor village on Skye
• Historic Castles: We’ll visit many of Scotland’s iconic castles and ruins

And that’s just the start! With our expert guidance and a small group, you’ll be able to capture the true essence of Scotland's autumn magic.

What’s Included in the Tour?

This is more than just a photography tour – it’s an experience. Here’s everything you’ll get when you book your place:

• Accommodation: Single room in 4-star (or better) accommodations. Comfort and convenience will be key to ensuring you are well-rested for each day of photography.
• Private Transfers: Travel in style and comfort with two 4WD or SUV vehicles to get us to all the best spots, no matter how remote.
• Small Groups: To ensure you get plenty of personal attention and a relaxed pace, the group is limited to a maximum of 6 guests.
• Meals: All meals are included (except lunch on Day 1 and Day 11). Enjoy hearty Scottish fare in some of the most scenic spots in the country.
• Photography Tuition: Learn new skills and techniques with full photography tuition from myself and co-guide Dan Taylor. We’ll also fit in some editing sessions where time allows.
• National Park Passes: All passes for the various locations we’ll visit, including castles, parks, and natural wonders.

Fitness Level and Accessibility

This is a moderate fitness level tour – there will be walking and some easy to moderate hikes as we explore these magnificent locations. On average, we’ll walk about 5 km per day, mostly on easy tracks with minimal elevation changes.

• Good walking shoes are recommended. Hiking poles can also help if you’d like extra support during the easier walks.
• While the tour includes some walking, many of our photography locations will be easily accessible with minimal effort.

What’s Not Included

• Travel Insurance: A must for all travellers.
• Airfare to and from the UK: Flights to Edinburgh are not included.
• Visa: A visa is required to enter the United Kingdom.
• Room Incidentals: Any personal expenses or non-tour-related costs are not included.
• Alcohol: Not covered by the tour.
• Souvenirs: For those who wish to take home a keepsake from Scotland.

How to Secure Your Spot

We’re now accepting deposits to reserve your place on this extraordinary tour. Here are the details:

• Deposit: A $1000 deposit is required to confirm your spot once the full details are released.
• Final Payment: The remaining balance is due by June 1, 2025.
• Maximum 6 Guests: This is an exclusive small-group tour to ensure personalized experiences for each guest.

Once we have our minimum group requirement, the tour will be confirmed, and we’ll release the full itinerary and additional details.
