2025 Photography Adventure: Utah & the Mighty 5 National Parks

It’s HERE! Get ready to embark on a life-changing journey through one of the most iconic and awe-inspiring landscapes in the world.

Utah—with its stunning Mighty 5 National Parks—is calling all photographers. From the towering cliffs of Zion to the surreal rock formations of Arches, this is an unmissable opportunity to capture some of the most breathtaking landscapes the USA has to offer.

Join myself, Cam Blake, and co-guide Dan Taylor, as we guide you through these legendary parks in the comfort of private transport with small groups of just 6 guests. You’ll have access to the best locations, receive expert photography tuition, and discover hidden gems in some of the most beautiful places on Earth.

This 11-day adventure begins and ends in the neon lights of Las Vegas, but the real magic happens as we explore Utah’s jaw-dropping natural wonders.

Itinerary Overview

We’ll be covering some of the Mighty 5 National Parks and more on this photography tour:

Day 1: November 7th – Arrival in Las Vegas

• Tour start: 9am in Las Vegas – guests must arrive on November 6th or earlier.
• We'll depart Las Vegas and drive 2 hours north to the town of Hurricane, right on the doorstep of Zion National Park.

Day 2-6: Zion & Bryce Canyon

• 5 days of exploration at Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. You’ll photograph the iconic Zion cliffs, The Narrows, Bryce’s hoodoos, and more. These parks are a photographer’s paradise.

Day 7-9: Arches & Canyonlands

• Next, we head north to Moab, where we’ll spend 3 nights exploring Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Marvel at the famous Delicate Arch, the massive rock formations of Canyonlands, and endless desert vistas.

Day 10: Monument Valley & Grand Canyon

• After Moab, we drive south to Monument Valley—the very same spot made famous in the Forrest Gump movie.
• Finally, we’ll take a detour to the Grand Canyon (yes, not in Utah, but too close to miss), before heading back to Las Vegas for our finale dinner.

Day 11: November 17th – Final Day in Las Vegas

• We conclude the tour with a final dinner in Las Vegas to reflect on our incredible journey and capture our final images. We suggest you extend your stay for a day or two to wind down after this epic adventure.

What’s Included?

• Accommodation: 10 nights in 4-star or better accommodation with single share rooms.
• Private Transfers: Travel in comfort with private vehicles (4WD or SUV) throughout the trip.
• Small Group: Limited to just 6 guests to ensure a personalized experience.
• Meals: All meals are included except for lunch on Day 1 & Day 11.
• National Park Passes: All park and entry fees are included.
• Photography Tuition: Full tuition from your guides each day. Plus, editing sessions (time permitting) to help you refine your shots.
• Guides: 2 expert guides—myself, Cam Blake, and co-guide Dan Taylor.

Fitness Level: Moderate

This is a photography-focused tour, so no strenuous hikes are involved. However, a moderate fitness level is recommended as there will be some walking each day, typically 5-10 km of easy-to-moderate trails. Most locations will be accessible via vehicle with minimal walking.

• Good walking shoes are essential, and hiking poles can be helpful for added support during walks.
• If you’re unsure about the fitness level, reach out to us, and we can talk through the details.

What’s Not Included?

• Travel Insurance – A must-have for all international travel.
• Airfare: Flights to and from the USA (arrive in Las Vegas by November 6th and depart after the final dinner on November 17th).
• Visa: Required to enter the United States.
• Room Incidentals & Non-Tour Costs: Personal expenses, such as tips, alcohol, and souvenirs, are not included.

• Deposit: A $1000 deposit secures your place on this unforgettable tour. This deposit is non-refundable unless the tour is cancelled or you are unable to attend due to illness (see our T&Cs).
• Payment: Remaining balance can be paid in installments leading up to the tour. The final payment is due by June 1st, 2025.
