Capture the Magic of Scotland in Autumn: Photography Tour 2025

Imagine this: You and your camera poised at the edge of a breathtaking loch, ancient castles rising majestically behind you, and the vibrant autumnal colours of Scotland transforming the landscape around you into a photographer’s paradise. Sounds like a dream, right?

Well, it's about to become your reality.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce our Scotland Photography Tour in the second half of 2025, just as the country’s autumn hues reach their peak. Over 11 unforgettable days, we’ll explore Scotland’s most iconic locations, capturing the beauty of its castles, lochs, rugged coastlines, picturesque valleys, and stunning mountain vistas.

This is your chance to photograph the untamed wilderness, ancient landmarks, and timeless landscapes of Scotland, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of autumn’s vibrant colour palette.

Why Scotland?

Scotland has long been a destination that has captivated my imagination, and since moving to Tasmania, I've found the landscape similarities between the two places irresistible. Both offer a dramatic beauty, with towering mountains, deep valleys, and misty mornings. This tour is an opportunity to experience Scotland’s ancient allure through your lens and capture images that you’ll cherish for years to come.

From the shimmering lochs to the majestic castles, and the chance to possibly witness the Northern Lights, every moment on this journey will be extraordinary.

Tour Highlights – Where We Will Visit

We'll be visiting some of Scotland’s most picturesque and iconic locations:

  • Isle of Skye: A paradise for photographers, with stunning coastlines, dramatic cliffs, and fairy-tale landscapes.
  • Old Man of Storr: Iconic rock formations with breathtaking panoramic views.
  • Quiraing: A landslide that’s transformed into one of Scotland’s most remarkable landscapes.
  • Glenfinnan: Famous for the viaduct and its magnificent surroundings.
  • Edinburgh: Scotland’s capital, brimming with history and vibrant charm.
  • Neist Point: Scotland’s most photographed lighthouse, perched on the edge of the Isle of Skye.
  • Portree: A quaint village, offering beautiful views and charming atmosphere.
  • Historic Castles: We’ll be photographing many of Scotland’s timeless castles, with towering stone walls, ancient turrets, and rich histories.

And there’s so much more to discover as we move through this stunning landscape. Each day will bring you closer to some of the most photogenic locations Scotland has to offer.
